20,279 patients received indoor treatment this year. The general ward patients were provided, at free of cost – bed, diet, all the medicines, doctors’ and nurses’ services. The private ward patients were also offered the same free of cost except the medicines and bed charge.

Paediatric Ward: A total of 2,205 children were treated in the in-door. At the OPD total number

of children treated was 51,029. All the patients were given free medicines.

OT: Total of 4,376 surgeries were performed during the year which include 592 eye surgeries conducted through PHACO, IOL or Yag Lazer.

Urology Camp: As in previous years, Dr. (Prof.) Harshad Punjani, from Mumbai; Dr. Balachandra Kashyapi from Pune, and their team conducted the Urology Camps sponsored by Manav

Seva Sansthan, Mumbai in November. Hundreds of patients were benefited as all the necessary treatment was offered free of cost. A total of 88 major surgeries were

conducted free of cost during the camp.

OPD: On an average 1525 patients visit OPD every day. A total of 6,22,727 (including Emergency Department and Rural Development Projects) patients were registered in the department.

Cancer Centre: The Cancer Centre of the hospital has conducted 3569 OPD consultations and 248 surgeries which include advance surgeries like Oncoplasties, Commando Surgeries, Whipples, Breast and Mandible Reconstruction, Apart from this, 397 patients underwent chemotherapy during this year .

Cathlab: The Cath Lab conducted 101 Angiographies, 27 Angioplasties and 5 Temporary & 3 Permanent Pacemaker insertions during the year 2019-20.

Alternative Medicines: The Sevashrama offers Ayurveda, Naturopathy and Homeopathy methods of alternative treatments on a regular basis. These are very popular among old people and a total number of 13,447 and 3,791 patients were treated in these departments respectively. The visiting Naturopathy Consultant Dr. P. K. Bhattacharya from Delhi has many

admiring patients to his credit.

Emergency Dept.: After OPD clinics are closed for the day, the Sevashrama offers emergency consultation to patients who come to the Hospital. Services of two MBBS doctors, a Physician, a

Cardiologist, a Pulmonologist and a Gynaecologist are made available round the clock. Wherever necessary, patients are admitted to the wards from Emergency Department. A total of 41,792 patients visited the department in current year.

Rural Medical Services:

Pally Mangal: The total number of patients treated was 46,162 in the year 2019-20.

Vims:  2 Nos. of Mobile medical units treated 53,952 nos. 0f patients and 9 nos. of Tele Medicine centre treated 52,211 Patients.
