Lamp Lighting Ceremony, 2020

The oath-taking ceremony, also known as Lamp Lighting Ceremony, of the 39th Batch of Nursing Students & Annual Day Celebrations were held on Wednesday, 23rd December, 2020 from 3:00 pm onwards at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium of our Sevashrama.

The Chief Guest Mrs.Bandana Bhattacharya, Former Principal, Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, New Delhi  and Srimat Swami Shantatmanandajee Maharaj, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi presided over the function. Maharaj & and the Chief Guest, in their motivational speechs, inspired the students and emphasized the need for good character while appealing one and all to do their duty with an attitude of service, love and care in the light of the life of  Florence Nightingale.

The Chief Guest along with Ms. Renu Bala Singh, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission School of Nursing, Vrindavan lit the lamp while the fresh batch of students lit their candles from it and took the Oath of Service preceded by Vedic chanting. Refreshments were served to all the guests and students.

On this occasion, prizes were distributed to the candidates for their Examinations in the School, best performance in Value Education and best out-going girl this year.

Before Invocation as well as after the refreshments, the School and Hospital celebrated the Annual Day with various cultural programmes performed by the Nursing Students and Staff Nurses.
