Two operation theatre complex are there in Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama Charitable Hospital, Vrindavan. In one complex 6 OTs are there including Cath Lab and in second complex 2 modular OTs are there specially designed for cancer surgeries in line with the international standards. The Modular OT Complex functions six days a week. A total of 4,376 surgeries were performed during the year 2019-20 which include 592 eye surgeries conducted through PHACO, IOL or Yag Lazer. General or Laparoscopic operations include – Open Gall Bladder, Hernia, Appendix, TURP& Open Prostate, Ureteric & Kidney stone removal, Hypospadias apart from Surgeries in Gynaec & Obstetrics, Paediatric, Orthopaedic, Cancer, Neuro, ENT, Ophthalmic, Plastic & Cosmetic and Hydrocele, Piles, Fistula& Fissure, Different kinds of Excisions, I&D, D&Cs and D&Es. Other than this, various sorts of orthopaedic surgeries including Joint Replacements Surgeries, Cancer Surgeries with Chemotherapy, Neuro Surgeries like Spinal and Brain Surgeries are also being conducted regularly.
Critical care for the patients of Medicine department is provided through 11 bedded MICU. In this Unit a team of specialist doctors and specially trained Nurses are taking care of the patient with state of the art critical care infrastructure.
Critical care for the surgical patients is provided through 11 bedded MICU. In this Unit a team of specialist doctors and specially trained Nurses are taking care of the patient with state of the art critical care infrastructure.



Critical care for the new born baby is provided through 10 bedded NICU unit. In this Unit a team of specialist paediatrician and specially trained Nurses are taking care of the babies 24 X 7 with state of the art Neonatal critical care infrastructure.



10 Bedded Dialysis unit is function 6 days a week providing Nephrological services
This unit is specially designed for the treatment of Diabetes patient. The patients registered in this programme are provided consultations based on regular pathological diagnosis under experienced specialist doctors. Counselling related to lifestyle changes are also given by Diabetic councillor. Treatments Including consultation, Diagnosys and Medicine is provided Free of cost. This Programme is funded by The HANS Foundation
To address the problem of severe scarcity of life saving blood and also to ensure the timely availability of it to ailing patients in the Hospital the Blood Bank was started. We are very grateful to the Red Cross Blood Bank, Delhi and Prayas Foundation, Vrindavan for supplying blood units to our patients whenever required. A total of 2,092 transfusions took place at the hospital in the year 2019 – 20
A Pharmacy named Maa Sarada Dawakhana is operating round the clock 7 days a week from where medicines (i.e. medicines which are not available in the free OPD dispensary) are provided at fair and subsidised rate. The margin of benefit is minimum whereas at other pharmacies medicines are sold at the printed MRP or at an amount close to it. The popularity of this pharmacy is ever on increase.
Hospital Store is rendering the supply of Free medicines, Surgical Items, Medical Consumables, House Keeping, Printing & Stationery items and all other necessary items for maintaining the hospital. This stores functions 6 day a week. In the year 2019-20 the Hospital Store purchased Rs. 5,61,24,882/- worth medicines & consumables, surgical items and implants at wholesale rate for free distribution to the poor patients. It is being ensured that only genuine medicines of good quality from reputed companies are being used in the hospital.
The Hospital has its own Oxygen Generation Plant capableof supporting 400 beds. Earlier it was supporting 200 beds. The extension of this plant is donated by Atlas Copco India Limited in its CSR initiative.
A fully automatic laundry is there for cleaning of the Cloths and bedding used at the Hospital.
CSSD Unit consisting of three nos. of Autoclave and other machines, serves the sterilization process of the instruments and other items used at Operation theater and other critical facilities.
