Lamp Lighting Ceremony of the 33rd batch of our Nursing school in Vivekananda Auditorium

The oath-taking ceremony, also known as Lamp Lighting Ceremony, of the 33rd Batch & Annual Day Celebrations were held on Wednesday, 10th December 2014 from 3:00 pm onwards at the Vivekananda Auditorium of our Sevashrama.


The Chief Guest Prof. Mala Goswami, Principal, College of Nursing, AIIMS, Bhopal inspired the students and stressed the need for professionalism in nursing. Revered Swami Sarvalokanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai presided over the function. Revered Maharaj, in his inspirational speech motivated the students and emphasized the need for good character while appealing one and all to do their duty with an attitude of service, love and care.


The Chief Guest along with the Principal and Senior Tutor lighted the lamp while the fresh batch of students lighted their candles from it and took Oath of Service preceded by Vedic chanting. Refreshments were served to all guests and students.



Four Students were awarded prizes for value education, out of the kind endowment fund donation by Srimat Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj (Asst. Secretary of Ramakrishna Math & Mission, Belur Math) in the name of Most Revered Srimat Swami Nirvananandajee Maharaj former Vice-President Maharaj of Ramakrishna Math & Mission. On the same evening, the School celebrated its Annual Day with various cultural programmes.
